I spent this week taking full advantage of the stunning blossoms outside by capturing this elegant branch study. I really enjoyed focusing on the subtle, creamy textures of the petals and the soft shadows they cast against the background.
• Size: 6-1/2" x 12" x 1-1/2" original oil painting on cradled wood panel
• Materials: Oil paint on 1-1/2" thick cradled wood panel. The natural wood edges are left unpainted and sealed with a clear protective coating. Each work is initialed on the front, signed and dated on the reverse, and protected with an archival satin varnish.
